Beate Wild lebt als Autorin und Journalistin in Berlin. Hauptsächlich schreibt sie über Politik, Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft. Sie hat langjährige Erfahrung als Newsdesk-Redakteurin, Reporterin, Online-Journalistin, Social-Media-Managerin und Newsletter-Redakteurin – und schreibt auf Deutsch und Englisch.
Sie hat Kommunikationswissenschaften, Spanisch und Interkulturelle Kommunikation in München und Madrid studiert und spricht neben ihrer Muttersprache Deutsch auch fließend Spanisch und Englisch. Sie ist seit mehr als zwei Jahrzehnten als Journalistin unterwegs – die meiste Zeit davon für die Süddeutsche Zeitung. Von 2014 bis 2019 lebte sie als Nordamerika-Korrespondentin in den USA (San Francisco, New Orleans, Austin) sowie in Mexico City. 2020/2021 war sie im Bundesfamilienministerium tätig. Am meisten freut sie sich über spannende Projekte, bei denen sie wieder einmal etwas völlig Neues entdecken kann.

Beate Wild is a German writer and journalist living in Berlin, Germany. Mostly she writes about politics, business and society. She is an experienced newsroom editor, reporter, online journalist, social media expert and newsletter specialist. Publications in German and English.
She studied Journalism, Spanish and Intercultural Communications at Universities in Munich and Madrid. For more than two decades she is working as a journalist – most of the time for the Sueddeutsche Zeitung. From 2014 to 2019 she lived as a foreign correspondent in the U.S. (San Francisco, New Orleans, Austin) and Mexico City. 2020/2021 she worked for the German Federal Family Ministry in Berlin. German is her native language, she is also fluent in English and Spanish. Most of all, she enjoys exciting projects where she can discover completely new things.
